Golden Stool Palace Join Forces With Boogie Down

Golden Stool Palace/Entertainment Center on 3rd Avenue in New York has been in existence for a while and it is the place to host many major events. It is under a new management and going through a serious restructuring. The Ghanaian owned and operated entity is going "all out" to make sure it is one of the great venues to hold Ghanaian events. Golden Stool Palace has beautiful gigantic paintings including; the real Golden Stool, a beach side, "One love", a combination of various flags symbolizing unity and diverse audience. Lastly, on top of the Dj's booth is a portrait of reggae legend; BOB NESTOR MARLEY.

Part of the structuring is that Mr. Eric Collins, CEO of Golden Stool Palace has joined forces with Boogie Down Nima Productions. Boogie Down Nima Productions is led by its hardworking young CEO, Hashim Haruna aka Big Hash, a record producer who has been spotlighted on Ghanaweb/Ghanamusic.com.and also part of the management team of Hiplife trio, VIP. 2005 was a good year for Hashim and his group of heavy hitters including DJs; Ronny Ron and Roni. They have a heavy following in New York because they rock many parties. They excited attendees at the 2005 New York Picnic, the mother of all picnics and their New Year's Eve show was incredible.

The new Golden Stool Palace will be launched very soon and open every Friday night. They have many events lined up for the year including; Save The Child With Music Concert to help raise money for BDN'S scholarship fund, a talent show and the winner will be offered a record deal. VIP's new album (My Luv) launching, the album will be in stores soon, also about to drop by the end of the year is; Tic-tac's new album which will be the most anticipated album. This summer BDN is also taking some college students from the USA to Ghana for the students to learn the Ghanaian culture.

The new management of Golden Stool Palace is pleased that finally they have a night club/entertainment center to be called "our own" in New York. They are inviting all the top djs to host their events including birthday parties, outdooring and any kind of entertainment. Many artistes have also been scheduled to perform.
