Mr Isaac Abeidu Aidoo, President of Goodies Foundation Mr Isaac Abeidu Aidoo, President of Goodies Foundation, an NGO has been honoured as the Best Youth Organiser at the Ghana Youth Excellence for 2003.
He was given the award for his meritorious contribution and efforts towards youth development in the area of HIV/AIDS awareness and educational programmes through the medium of music.
The awards instituted by its initiator, Mr. Benjamin Quarshie with the support of his Excellency, Alhaji Aliu Mahama, the Vice President was represented by Mr. Adatunga, MP for Bimbilla at the Accra Conference Centre at a very colourful ceremony recently.
Mr. Isaac Aidoo, a music producer in a brief interview said he was happy and thanked God for the honour and noted that every good work done deserves commendation.
He re-echoed the words of the Vice- President on his campaign and war against indiscipline especially among the youth in our society which he said is the watch word for progress and social development of the younger generations.
Present at the function were Honourable Kwadwo Baah Wiredu. Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Dr. Kweku Afriyie, Minister of Health, members of the Diplomatic Corps and Traditional rulers.
VIP and Sidney, both artistes on the Goodies Music label performed at the event to the excitement of the audience.
