Goodies Music Productions, one of Ghana’s leading record labels has declared its intention to organize a series of workshops and seminars to develop the talents of musicians in the country.

Outlining the plans of his oufit, Isaac Abeadu Aidoo, chief executive officer of Goodies Music Productions said the vision his company had was to develop talents and also encourage Ghanaian musicians to be creative in their works as well as make sure that African music is not left behind in the world.

“Our mission is to use music as the language of divine wisdom and a language that can be understood by all people, be it political, racial or religious boundaries, as well as to use music as a medium to remedy the HIV/AIDS pandemic and to fight poverty in our society,” he stated.

Goodies Music Productions was established in Ghana with the aim of providing high quality services in the local and international entertainment industry.

The mission of the company, according to Isaac Aidoo, is to strive to provide an authentic platform for the promotion of arts, culture and tourism in a multi-dimensional way tailored to suit the Ghanaian multi-cultural society.

He told Beatwaves that part of Goodies’ mission was to successfully organise musical events with all artistes in the country as a means of fighting poverty through music.

He said his company had a vision to be recognized as a credible global partner in music production.

“Our philosophy”, he indicated, “was to uphold the commitment to make certain that music is not left behind in a world made fit for all to live in”.

Isaac Aidoo said his outfit intends to sign on more musicians from Ghana and other parts of Africa who would go through a series of training to enable them compete with their colleagues on the international music scene.

Explaining further, Isaac Aidoo hinted that his outfit had entered into partnership with certain record labels in certain African countries as well as Europe and America, to help promote Ghanaian and African music worldwide.

Last year, Goodies launched a project to improve the poor conditions in Ghana’s prisons.

The project was launched in Accra at the Superior Officers’ Mess, Prison Headquarters, under the theme “Prisons Rehabilitation and Reformation Project”.

Currently, Goodies Music Productions is working with artistes like 2 Face and P-Square, all of Nigeria, Julie Endee of Liberia, Skwatt Camp of South Africa, as well as other international stars.
