It seems S&S Media Concepts, organisers of the Ghana Gospel Music Awards, are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a successful third edition of the awards.

This year’s event, scheduled to take place at the Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi on July 30, promises to be an improvement over the first two. After its launch in Kumasi a couple of weeks ago, the organisers are out with the various categories.

The categories are as follows: Best Female Voice (Female gospel artiste with the finest vocal pitch and timbre), Best Male Voice (Male gospel artiste with finest pitch and timbre), Best Small Group (Most distinguished small gospel music ministry) and Best Medium Group (Most distinguished medium gospel music ministry.)

Others are Best Mass Group (Most distinguished mass gospel music ministry), Best Choral Group (Most outstanding choral music presenters), Most Inspiring Lyrics (Appropriate, edifying and doctrinally sound lyrics) and Best Praise Song (The most popular praise song that blesses, praises and gives thanks to the Lord).
