The first ever gospel artist to collaborate with BET Award winner Sarkodie, Herty Borngreat, is billed to perform at Ghana DJ Awards 2012 slated for Friday 26th October at the National Theater.
Herty’s who has also featured award winning hip-hop star Trigmatic in her recently released single track, ‘Kano Sei are’ is expected to thrill her audience and add up to the much expected electrifying atmosphere come October 26.
“Performing at the maiden edition of the Ghana DJ Awards means a lot, it really means a lot because it is the first time they are organizing such a program. I see it as a big honor and am really happy; it means a lot to me”, she said.
“My fans should expect nothing but the best out of me and it all about fun , we are coming to have fun I am the gospel artist who can also rap at the same time so am coming to have fun with my fans general public and the general Public.
Herty Borngreat joins the likes of VIP , Okyeame Kwame, Asem, Kaakie, Tic Tac, Diamond, Mzbel, D3 (latest female group), RNM winners of the maiden edition of the Vodafone Icon with guest appearances from DJ Divalash, one of South Africa’s finest Lady DJs plus a host of other International and local artists.
The Ghana DJ awards is aimed at promoting, honoring and rewarding the best achieving Ghanaian radio, night club and “recognized” mobile Disk Jockeys (DJ).
Produced by Merqury Republic Events, the program, first of its kind in Africa, brings more excitement and adds value to the DJ profession in Ghana.
There are 21 categories covering major music genres in Ghana, from Highlife to Reggae, as well as Scratch DJ of the Year, Popular DJ Of The Year, Artist DJ Of The Year amongst other exciting categories.
