Ghanaian gospel music group Preachers is no more with record label, GospeltownAfrica, Zionfelix.net can confirm.
The group in a statement sent to Zionfelix.net stated that the five-year contract they signed with the record label and manager, Teddy OT has ended hence their decision to go their separate ways.
Obed Psych, leader of the group speaking to Zionfelix on Brunch2Lunch on Radio Univers confirmed the split.
The musician who was reluctant in disclosing what made them not to continue their work with Teddy OT and GospeltownAfrica stated that they had misunderstandings on several issues but that is not the cause of their separation.
According to him, Preachers and the record label had different future plans so they thought it wise to look elsewhere since their contract has ended.
Psych admitted that their five-year work with Teddy OT and GospeltownAfrica helped their career.
The group made up of three members, Obed Psych, Emani Beats and Edmund Baidoo has new management but the leader of the group told Zionfelix on the mid-morning entertainment show that a press conference would be organised soon to announce the new team they will be working with.
