Gospel musicians face spiritual attacks before releasing new songs - Empress Gifty

Gospel musician Empress Gifty has disclosed that many gospel artistes often face spiritual attacks before releasing new songs.

She revealed this during an interview on Adom FM where she explained that these challenges occur because the songs are intended to positively impact people's lives.

"Sometimes, you go through attacks before a song comes out. The kind of challenges you face… it’s because the song will touch lives, it will change destinies and provide miracles," she shared.

Empress Gifty emphasised the importance of being spiritually strong and fit to withstand these attacks.

"So if you the artiste are not spiritually strong and fit, you’ll be found wanting,” she said.

She noted that the severity of these challenges can lead artistes to forget their lyrics or feel discouraged from promoting their songs.

"That’s why some people stop doing interviews when they release new songs. They lose focus, sometimes even becoming too focused on the money instead of promoting the message," she added.
