Contrary to those reports, Kwaku Manu whose name has been added to the supposed list has revealed to Razz Newspaper that, the news circulating in the media is false.

He stated that, he doesn’t even know where the news is coming from and that he hasn't been called by the Ministry of youth and sports for any ambassadorial deal.

In a separate chat with Kwame BA, a producer whose name was also mentioned, He said that, they have not been added to any list. According to him they sent a letter to the ministry of Youth and sports and through that, the ministry gave them an introductory letter, which was supposed to assist them get visas to Brazil.

He told Razz Newspaper that, the ministry also gave them match tickets to help them acquire the visas successfully but as it stands now, they haven’t received their visas yet.

He made it clear that Government is not funding their travel expenses, feeding, accommodation, etc as reported by a section of the media.

Mrs Marilyn Afua Houadjeto CEO for image consortium – which is in charge of contracting the celebrity ambassadors for world cup, also stated that she’s not aware that Kumasi stars have been added to the list.
