Ghanaian sound engineers will soon be flown out of the country for training purposes in quality beat production.

President of the Creatives Arts Council, an office under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Mark Okraku Mantey has revealed the Nana Addo led government will soon fly out Ghanaian sound engineers to learn more about quality music production.

As observed by Ghana’s Hub For Pop Culture & Urban Entertainment – www.nydjlive.com, Mark Okrakru Mantey made this known during a speech at the 2nd Annual General Meeting of the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) held at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology on Thursday, July 27 2017.

Outlining the government’s plans for the music and arts industry for the year, Mark revealed that,

“One of the things this government has for the musician is that we’ve realized the standards in the music industry is continuously falling. This is made manifest when you play a Ghanaian song after songs produced from Nigeria or South Africa you realize a drop in the quality and this is because we are recording below standards so we want to move a notch higher…..”
