The ace gospel musician who is also known for her great cheer songs for the Black Stars of Ghana Grace Ashy aka Obaa Yaa has released a remix version of her Black Stars song which took the nation by storm in the CAN 2008 tournament held in Ghana some years ago.

The sensational gospel musician whose latest song 'Agye Se Awurade Ba Mu' is making waves across the length and breadth of this country. Grace Ashy could not sit idle without doing a powerful song for the black stars as they are playing on their own African soil.

“Grace Ashey is Black Stars and Black Stars are Grace Ashy and that is how every patriotic Ghanaian should see himself. Whether good or bad, that is ours and so we need to give them moral support and make them proud", she said.

I realized football can never do without support from a fan base so I decided to add my voice every year to make our stars know that even as politicians, all parties and those in government support them so musicians also support them” Obaa Yaa stated.

“Even though, I am not being paid for such songs, I use my own money to record the song.. My joy is to see the Black Stars of Ghana excelling in every match they play. I feel proud as a Ghanaian so anything that comes from Grace Ashey to the course of Ghana makes me feel okay.

I hereby encourage everybody to help pray for our players even as people have started looking down on them. Remember God says, little countries don't be alarmed because it beautifies your father in Heaven to bestow unto you the Kingdom. With God all things are possible. Ghana Black Stars: This is our time GO! GO!! GO!!!” Grace Ashy confidently said.

The remix song of Obaa Yaa's Black Stars jama song this year features Nacy, a renowned sound engineer and Reggie Zippy, a hip life artiste and was backed by Fii and Getty. The video of this song will soon hit your screens on all television stations in the country and beyond.
