On Saturday August 5th, 2006 at 1pm EDT the Sweet Mother Tour (SMT) is launching "Power of the People" TV, a first-of-its-kind interactive online talk show at www.sweetmother.org.

SMT PoP TV will be the first program to use the SMT-Cast (TM) platform, a new online tool that gives Podcasters the ability to interact with online viewers via live video. SMT-Cast (TM) will be the first product to launch out of SMT Interactive, a new media company building tools to power the next generation of independent media.

The inaugural SMT-Cast (TM) of SMT PoP TV will feature up and coming Jamaican star Nadirah-X. Produced by multi-platinum pop legend DaveStewart, of Eurythmics fame, "Nadz" has brought her conscious lyrics and authoritative delivery to recent collaborations with Joss Stone, Mick Jagger, Dave Stewart & Annie Lennox of the Eurythmics, and on the Grammy-nominated latest release from Reggae legend Jimmy Cliff. Nadz is back in the studio working on her debut album.

Join award-winning musician, actor and public speaker Derrick N. Ashong (aka DNA) on Saturday, August 5th at 1pm EDT (10am PDT) as he hosts the inaugural SMT-Cast (TM) of SMT PoP TV, featuring NADZ at www.sweetmother.org. Viewers at the site will get a free download of the title track from Nadz' upcoming release "Ink."
