But for great performances which saved the night, the Save a Life Concert organized by KBKB Music in collaboration with National Cardiothoracic Centre would have been a disappointment.
Even though, the event was poorly attended, the artistes were in no mood to disappoint the few fans who turned up for the show.
One after the other, the Stars mesmerized the audience with sterling performances much to the excitement of the few fans who were committed to the cause of saving human lives.
This year's concert attracted a host of Ghanaian celebrities like Ohemma Mercy, JOT Agyemang, No Tribe, Ekow Smith Asante, Joe Mettle, James Gardiner, Tagoe Sisters, Dada KD, Amanzeba,Becca, Fred Nuamah and some fresh new breeds in the industry such as Kobby Simple, Adomaa, Nero X and others.
The Banquet Hall, venue for the KwabenaKwabenaSave a Life Concert, was unusually half full, a surprise development, given the quality of stars advertised to perform on the night.
In an interview, the "Aso" hit singer admitted it was difficult getting the show together but was hopeful things will get better with time. Everything from the beginning is quite difficult, but we are confident, we thank God for today and we still go on”
Despite the poor attendance, Kwabena Kwabena, applauded the innovation brought on board this year's programme. According to him, this year show sought to have an educational campaign to create awareness about heart diseases and they did not disappoint.
The concert since its inception has managed to raise funds to help children with critical heart conditions.
