Veteran Kumawood director Borbor has advised all actors and stakeholders in the Kumawood movie industry to seek protection and fortification against spiritual attacks.
According to him, despite portraying themselves as loving and united, many members of the Kumawood movie industry are spiritually attacked by colleagues who may envy their positions.
This, is why he believes it is essential for all actors to safeguard themselves against such attacks.
"I am not surprised when my colleague actor Portia mentioned that there are numerous spiritual attacks on actors in the industry. Envy and hate exist in every aspect of life, but it is particularly prevalent in the movie industry," Borbor said.
"I have been part of the movie industry for a long time and I am aware of these occurrences. The use of 'juju' on colleagues does happen. Therefore, my simple advice to actors is to protect themselves from such spiritual attacks," Borbor added.
He said this in response to a question from Peace FM’s Kwasi Aboagye about the frequency of spiritual attacks in the Kumawood movie industry.
Borbor, who also manages Dr. Likee, shared a personal experience when someone attempted to harm him spiritually.
He recalled, "While I believe 'juju' exists in the movie industry, I had not experienced it until recently when someone used it against me, about two months ago. They tried to paralyze me through a spiritual attack, but fortunately, I had spiritual assistance that saved my life."
