Hiplife singer and aspiring presidential candidate of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Ghana, Maradona Yeboah Adjei, also known as Guru NKZ surprised his course mates with a live performance to end a lecture session.
In a video shared on the official page of EDHUB on X, Guru NKZ after a brief introduction from a lady believed to be the course representative of the class mounted the lecture podium to perform his hit single, ‘Lapaz Toyota’.
In the said video, the students who were wowed by the live performance danced and sang out the lyrics of the song turning the lecture room to a concert grounds.
Should the singer qualify and proceed to contest for the high office of SRC president of Ghana’s premiere university, he would be the second on the list of famous singers who contested for SRC positions at the tertiary education level.
The first is, Reggae Dancehall singer, Samini, who contested for and won the SRC presidential race at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
The presidential campaign of Guru NKZ has been received massive supports from his colleagues in the entertainment industry.
A-list celebrities like Ghana’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie, and Kumawood actor, LilWin have all publicly declared their support for him and called on students to support and vote for him.
