Silky voice female singer, Adina Thembi has classified guys who brag a lot when they meet ladies as shallow minded people. The “Coastal Vibes” singer in a chat with Kofi Laing on Joy FM disclosed that such people turn her off.
She said on the Multimedia owned radio station Wednesday evening that she hates guys who put up such act. According to her, they have nothing important to communicate so they start to blow their own horns.
To her, winning a lady’s heart is not about your worth but your behavior.
“I don’t like it when someone wants to tell you everything that they have. I think its a turn off because you realise that they are shallow, they have no substance so they feel they have to talk about what they have. To them that is their value but for me none of those things matter.” Adina told Kofi Laing on Joy FM’s Late Night Express.
She continued that she appreciates worthy people but she does not expect them to use that in winning the heart of a lady.
“The fact that you have these assets doesn’t make you a better person than the person who doesn’t have such things but has more values. For me its more about what is inside. You can have whats inside and have the whole world and I will be cool but if you don’t have whats inside, that’s the proper value and all you have is the money then that’s too shallow for me”
Adina had three nominations at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards; namely Record of the Year, Afropop Song of the Year and Best Female Vocalist of Year but she walked home with none.
