'Gyan's sex scandal was framed up'

Highlife musician, Abirekyieba Kofi Sammy popularly known as Chief kofi Sammy has stated that the Skipper of the Ghana national football team, the Black Stars Asamoah Gyan was set up.

In an interview with Roman Fada on Atinka FM on Saturday said, he believes Asamoah Gyan’s entire case was one giant set up and orchestrated.

Chief Sammy who is known for his “Yellow Sisi” song said there is only one way to tame Asamoah Gyan that is to find a woman to make him responsible.

"Asamoah Gyan is a leader of the national Football team and he should portray a good behaviour as leader. If you don’t have a good private life you can’t play at the top level. It's time he gets married", he said.

He said this after the Attorney General’s Department reiterated that it has closed the docket rape and sodomy allegation made by Sarah Kwablah against Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan.

According to the report, Sarah informed Gyan in May that she was three months pregnant for which the football star accepted responsibility, but two separate scans done at different facilities proved that the complainant had been pregnant for a little over five weeks, which was less than what she claimed.

Gyan requested a DNA test which angered the lady and subsequently threatened to release videos of their sexual activities. But in a bid to avoid a scandal, the football star reported the case at the Odorkor Police Station where he was requested to provide the lady with a monthly allowance of GH¢2,000 while they waited for the DNA test.
