Hajara Mapouka of popular 'JunkaTown' comedy series dead

Hajara Mapouka, known in real life as Mansa Mensah, a popular actress and one of the main characters of the hilarious comedy series, Junkatown has passed away.

According to a post sighted on ghanacelebrities.com, the fan page of the comedy series shared the sad news on their page on Facebook.

Many of the fans and followers of the series are still in shock as they are finding it hard to believe that the actress was no more.

Checks from the page on Fcaebook led us to find this post, “BREAKING NEWS… Mansa Mensah aka #AJARA MAPOUKA the lady at the centre of the controversy in the hilarious series #JUNKATOWN Is DEAD. RIP AJARA MAPOUKA. U WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED.

The cause of death of the controversial character in the series is yet to be ascertained.

Junkatown is a popular series that originated from Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana. It became popular due to one of the main characters of the series known as Too Much known in real life as Ibrahim Iddris.

The comic actor who also doubles as a musician was attacked by the people from the 'Frafra' community over his latest song 'mba bii' when he was performing in Kumasi sometime in August last year.

Ibrahim Iddris due to his comic way of acting was starred in a hilarious comedy movie titled, “Coming to Accra” which was shot by Prince Dovlo.
