Hakeem, Erico out of ‘The Battle’

Hakeem, Erico and Paa found themselves at the bottom three on TV3’s popular reality TV show, ‘The Battle’. Hakeem had the luck of being saved by the judges last week but was sent home along with Erico this week as the battle got hotter and more interesting.

Although the public have 100% power in the voting arrangement, the judges also do have the power to save a contestant among the last three contestants with the least number of votes.

Four contestants have been evicted from the battle in two weeks as the show goes through the suspense and drama of evicting two each week. The ten contestants left in the battlefield have only two choices, to do their best to garner enough votes so as to remain on top of the game or to perform badly and risk being evicted.

A lot depends on public voting and Dominic, Laurencia and Mark’s redemption of one contestant in the bottom three.

Next week’s show is expected to evict yet again, two fighters in ‘The Battle’. Cee, Dela, Kofi, Prince, Joe, Paa, Faya and Isaac are the eight contestants left to slug it out in the competition. K.Gee, Vic, Hakeem and Erico are to continue their showbiz careers outside the house. At present, contestants at the top three of the competition include Isaac, Kofi and Joe.

Mark Okraku Mantey told Erico to beware of his ego for all the contestants found at the bottom three the previous week were perceived to be pompous. Erico was interestingly sent home after Mark’s comment this week.

Was it just prophesy from Mark or a clue to the rest of the contestants who really want to stay in the house? The deductive reasoning of what Mark told erico is that Ghanaians do not like contestants who seem confident and outspoken. The coming five weeks on ‘The Battle’ will tell whether that’s true or not.
