Happy Fm Mass Wedding Registration Still Open

Mon, 9 Jan 2012 Source: --

Accra, 9th January, 2012: Happy FM, Ghana’s premier sports station has officially commenced registration for their annual Mass Wedding Initiative. The Event which has become a community favourite is organized annually to help couples make their dream wedding a reality with no expense to them. Registration for eligible couples is now open and will end on the 12th of January 2012.

In its 7th year since its inception, the Happy FM Mass Wedding has been held on the 14th of February, also known as Valentine’s Day as a symbol and to commemorate the love being shared on that day. Last year’s event saw a total of 150 couples sifted to 50 due to rigorous screening and evaluation processes. Eligible couples were then taken through intense counseling sessions by certified marriage counselors and pastors to enhance their knowledge on the path they have chosen together. This year promises to be no different with a strict selection process to ensure genuine parties are chosen for the celebrations; thus the early call for registration and participation.

General Manager of Happy FM, Charles Osei Asibey noted that “The Mass Wedding Event is a baby we’re proud of because it has gone far and beyond what we initially created it to be. We now have a personal bond with the event and everyone involved in it contributes a hundred and ten percent of their capacity. We want the emerging couples to look back and be proud of one of the most important days in their married lives.”

Interested couples can register at the Happy FM Station in Asylum Down.
