Harry Bentil “Caught” In A Taxi

Harry Bentil Kwamena Agyei known for his presenting skills on GTV’s next level has returned to his first love –movie acting despite all the positive distractions that came his way when he first fell in love with that love. The young vibrant actor has starred in movies like, Unfaithful, desperations, what women can do, under my pillow and his first ever professional movie ‘Marry Me’ plus starring alongside names like Majid Michel, Jackie Appiah, Senanu Gbedawo, kwaku T, among others and he has a couple of movies pending for release.

Harry Bentil revealed in a one on one interview that the road to his first love in life, acting has not been easy, ‘after starring in Marry me’ I felt I could do some magic in presenting so I joined GTV’s next level and from the beginning it was fun, so exciting to the fact that I did 2 years of Journalism at GIJ just to boost the morale’, Harry noted.

He also went on to say, ‘the wise saying that your first love is so hard to let go, is very true, I had the opportunity to be in desperations which brought the passion back on track, ever since that time I have not stop loving acting. Harry Bentil who triples as everything showbiz apart from music, counting from Modeling (where his biggest hit was with MTN commercial), acting and presenting made note that because of the inner most love for acting, he is now with the performing art department of University of Ghana-Legon studying to become a director still in the acting business.

The ‘I do everything showbiz’ man disclosed that he has found a new love within his acting world, which is theater and he is enjoying it to the fullest but his fear is to not to shift from screen acting or directing to theater acting and directing.

Harry Bentil the UG student has a dream to become Ghana’s anchor showbiz man with many film festival awards nominations across the world, this he said: ‘my latest movie is a 7 minutes short film called ‘call me back’ and it is an intriguing story if prolonged into a 90mins feature film will raise the name of Ghana high. Finally Harry said he is grateful to God Almighty for his directions and protection, to his family, friends, well wishers, group members (who gave him the chance to direct three theater school projects and played lead roles in different productions) and those entire guys who watched him grow from next level through to acting, he will always be humbled to you guys, keep on supporting him. The dream to become a professional all rounded showbiz man is on course, Harry Bentil is a three horse power ever ready battle to take the bull by the horn to any opportunities opened to him now.
