Asamankese (E/R), Sept 09, GNA - A 56-year-old herbalist, Kwame Owusu, who threatened a pastor with death has been arraigned before the Asamankese Circuit Court.
Owusu pleaded guilty and was remanded until September 18. Police Chief Inspector G. D. Bruce, prosecuting, said Owusu visited Okumaning, near Kade, about a month ago to administer herbal treatment to the sick.
On August 10, Pastor James Nkansah of the African Faith Church was holding a prayer session with his congregation when Owusu entered the church and threatened to kill the pastor.
Members of the congregation thought he was mad and wanted to drive him away but the pastor asked them to allow him to get to him. The prosecutor said when asked who sent him, Owusu did not mention any name but continued to threaten him with death and a report was made to the police.
