A Ghanaian Comedian by name Kojo Anim became an internet sensation after he got the ‘Golden Buzzer’ by Simon Cowell, propelling him into the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent show 2019 after he gave an impressive performance with his comedy.

Kojo Anim made Simon Cowell laugh so much to his jokes that he reached for the ‘Golden Buzzer’.

Simon Cowell was not the only one who was thrilled with Kojo’s jokes, the other judges and the audience also loved his performance.

Kojo Anim was born on 21st January 1977 in Ghana but moved with his parents to London at an early age. Kojo is not just a comedian, but he is also an actor, a screenplay writer and a filmmaker.

As the oldest of 5 siblings, Kojo grew up in foster care in the borough of Hackney in east London from the age of 5. While his first love was always football, he started using his humour to make people laugh in his local team. Kojo has since opened up for Chris Rock, Kevin Hart at Wembley Arena and Dave Chappelle at the Royal Albert Hall.

In 2018 Kojo became a father for the first time to his son Roman-Kingsley and is now penning a new 1 hour show all about fatherhood.

He made his acting debut in Noel Clarke’s romantic comedy The Knot in 2011. He also starred in the urban comedy movie It’s A Lot.

Kojo presented the Breakfast Show on UK radio station Capital Xtra form 2010-2014.
