Evangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has stated that her release from prison was divinely orchestrated through the intervention of Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, widely known as Prophet Opambour.

Speaking to congregants during her visit to Opambour's church on Sunday, March 22, 2026, she disclosed that she asked her husband, Angel Asiamah, to seek the prophet's help while she was in jail.

“I told my husband that if he wants me to be released from prison, he has to visit Opambour. The Spirit of God revealed to me that without his prayers and favour, I will never come out,” she said.

Agradaa further claimed that divine revelation made it clear that her release was tied to the prophet’s intervention.

“I told him, if you want me out, go to Opambour, the nation’s prophet. If you don’t, then continue whatever you are doing. The Spirit and angels of God told me to send him to that man," she said.

Agradaa said, following her husband’s visit to Opambour, she eventually secured her freedom.

“With his prayers and favour, I came out. So I told my husband to go to him and tell him I sent him.”

Agradaa was initially sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment on July 3, 2025.

However, her legal team successfully appealed the ruling at the Amasaman High Court, which reduced the sentence to 12 calendar months, describing the original punishment as excessive.

Her release comes after serving two-thirds of the revised sentence, in line with Ghana’s remission policies.
