It was fun to be at the Lizzy Sports Complex on May 1 when female celebrities from Nigerian and Ghana clashed for Juliet Ibrahim’s charity foundation soccer match.
These female stars showed to the world that they are not only good when they are on TV or radio but also on the pitch.
Whilst many of these female celebrities from both countries made spectators laugh during the football match, few displayed exceptional football talent.
The captain for Ghana’s team, Nana Ama Mcbrown due to her performance got the tag “Messi”. Citi FM’s Jessica Opare Saforo, YFM’s DJ Kess and Ghana’s goalie were also at their best. The Nigerian goalkeeper helped her team else Ghana would have scored them thousand goals….lol
The charity football match ended after 1:1 draw. The Nigerian referee, Gbenro Ajibade who took over from actor Toosweet Annan after the first half wanted to save his country from disgrace so he ended the match right after Nigeria scored their first goal.
