In a video that has gone viral on social media, an unknown taxi driver is seen waving two National Democratic Congress (NDC) flags, wailing and calling on former president John Dramani Mahama to save Ghanaians.
Though his location is not known, it is visible from his surroundings that the video was shot at a lorry station.
"We are dying, we are dying, Nana Addo has killed us. Nana Addo has killed us. John Mahama, John Mahama we are dying, we are dying....Free education, John Mahama we are dying, we are dying," the shirtless man cried in the video sited by GhanaWeb.
The hilarious video has caught the attention of Instagram users and ignited lots of reactions.
Meanwhile, the former president who is seeking re-election at the upcoming 2020 elections has made a series of promises to Ghanaians.
Mr Mahama has promised to build new universities in the Savannah, North East, Bono East, Ahafo, Western North and Oti regions.
The NDC flagbearer has also promised to scrap the teacher licensure exams if he’s voted back into power. Speaking at the NDC’s campaign donations fundraiser in Accra, Mahama said the party has never intended to use exams as a means of licensing teachers. He also pledged to reintroduce the automatic promotion of teachers in the country after the licensure exam is scrapped.
