Many Ghanaians could not believe that Azigiza Jnr. had become a born again Christain some years back. While some asserted that there was no way he could become a born again Christain since he was deep-rooted in the secular world, others disbelieved the story saying that it was one of the numerous rumours circulating in the hiplife industry.

Whether people believed it or not, it became evidently clear that Azigiza had become born again Christain. (Praise the Lord). Augustine Broson Paskal Buoh alias Togbe Afrika, is the next hiplife artiste to give his life to Jesus Christ. (That is what the Lord can do, you know). In fact I did not believe it when a friend told me until I caught up with him at Radio Hit in Accra. ?Yes, the stuff you heard was true.

I am now a born again Christain and I am singing gospel tunes? were the words from Augustine who looked clam and gentle.

Having recorded his debut hiplife album by Hammer and JQ early this year, Togbe Afrika decided to switch from the secular world to the world of gospel music when I the call of the Lord came upon him. He said, ?Although I spent over 30 million on that album, ?Auntie Araba?, I had no option than to obey the call of God when it came?.

I spent sometime to listen to the songs on the album and wow, they were just superfluous. I therefore became convinced that had he promoted the album which was done in French, English, Ewe and Twi, it would have become an instant hit on the market (Trust me).

And as the clock kept clicking, things started changing. Things are now different in the life of Togbe Afrika. His ten track album, ?Dela Yesu? (Saviour Jesus) which was recorded at the Jehovah Nissi Studios in Kumasi has started receiving much airplay especially in Kumasi and in the Volta region.

Some of the songs on the album include ?Menim Se? (I know that), ?Dela Yesu? and ?Halleluyah?. What is unique about this album is the diversity of languages it possess: French, English, Ewe and Twi. It was produced by Self Music Productions and is being distributed by Lucky Sounds.

Augustine Broson Paskal Buoh was born to Mr. Kodjo Buoh and Madam Josephine Kassah at Dzodze in the Volta Region on August 29, 1982. Afrika started his primary education at Dzodze-Peneyi Zion School and Kabore JSS at Ho before proceeding to Kpando Secondary School. Due to his impressive performance in the SSCE, he gained admission into Accra Polytechnic, where he Buoh studied Purchasing and Supply.

The multi-talented musician has so far worked with Volta Star radio in Ho. (That was where he did his National service) and Akatsi District Assembly after completing Accra Polythenic last year.
