Oheneba P. K.We have heard recently the sad news about the sudden death of Actor and Radio Personality; Kwame Owusu Ansah through a car accident and also Kwaw Kesse who also had a car accident in Ghana.  Also heading to the US another serious incident occurred involving East Hartford, Connecticut based Hiplife maestro; OHENEBA PK (The Hiplife Sec.Gen).  Luckily “The Secretary General” escaped unhurt.

He called GHP exclusively to narrate the incident.

Last week Wednesday, April 30th 2008, around 5:53am, He got into a very serious car accident on his way to work. He was therefore rushed immediately to Hartford Hospital by an ambulance and admitted in the Emergency Room. “I really thank the Good Lord that I had no broken bones after a series of tests and x-rays were conducted” he said. He was driving his Ford Explorer truck with his seat belt which saved his life because he would have been thrown out through the windshield if he had worn it.

The truck was totaled, windshield was broken, front tires were flat and damaged, the two airbags exploded with smoke, and the other car that was involved in the crash was also totally damaged.

WORDS OF GRATITUDE FROM OHENEBA P K

“I just want to thank God publicly for saving me from this accident. I also want everyone out there to know that, if you rely on God, you rely on an unmovable Rock.  Nothing the enemy has planned against you shall ever be able to prosper. I have received phone calls from a lot of friends like Frank Asiedu, Jones Boateng, Ama Tandoh, Juliet Asafo, Nana Adwoa Kyerewaa, many more, and I do thank them for their care. I also want to thank one Mr Yaw Nyarko of Hartford Hospital for his assistance when I was brought into the Emergency Room.

He realized I was a Ghanaian and he indeed treated me like a brother. He took my x-rays together with one black lady. I was admitted in the Emergency Room for at least 4 hours and only by the grace of God that I was released. I received injuries on my back, neck, left arm, and shoulders. I am on medications now and even though the accident occurred on Wednesday, I am healing fast. I also thank my uncle; Mr Yaw Ntoni and his entire family for their assistance. Mr. CNN, Ghanaweb, and Ghanamusic.com for their support.

Despite the accident, I still plan on attending and performing at Central Connecticut State University’s  African Culture Shock program on May 9th, 2008. People can visit my fun site for any info and make comments in the guest book @  www.ohenebapk.com“.
