Ladies who are seen in public hipping their boobs to look attractive have been rebuked by many who found their act immoral. Not just them, numerous Ghanaians have also frowned on the use of hip pads by some ladies to deceive the public.

A section of Ghanaian celebrities have been lashed for allegedly wearing hip pads to events owing to the fact that it is unscrupulous for them to put them on. Despite the cry by many for these acts by some ladies to stop, gospel musician Cecce Twum thinks it is not evil for ladies to hip their boobs and also wear hip pads.

The pastor’s wife in an interview with Andy Favoured on Accra FM’s gospel entertainment show, Gospel 360 Sunday afternoon said Ghanaians should allow ladies to continue such acts if they feel that is what they want and will help them. To her, such ladies hip their boobs or wear the pads for a reason so she cannot express complete disapproval of their conduct.

According to her, the hipping of boobs and wearing of hip pads is not modern day behaviour. She explained that the act has been ongoing for long but it has been modernized by the youth of today and it is normal because the way of doing things in this era has changed from the olden days.

“Everything in life is about choices. Someone might think she has slim buttocks so she wants to wear hip pads to get enough and that is her decision.

It is deception but I can’t base on that to say it is a sin. I am not in a good position to say someone has put some things in her bra to hip her boobs so she has committed a sin.

This thing has been in existence since the days of our grand parents. In the olden days, our mothers used to put materials like clothes or foams in their braziers to make their boobs fit in their dress. You know as time goes on, the way of doing things change and that is what has transformed to be what we are seeing now” she told Andy Favoured.

The “Onokwafo” singer stressed that “I will be a liar to sit here and say all those who hip their breasts are sinners because I don’t have any fact to base my argument on”. She however added that it would be a deception to a lady’s future husband because he will be disappointed after finding out in future.

Cecce Twum was on the show talking about the fashion of Ghanaian gospel musicians.
