Ghanaian media personality Maame Animwaa has shared how her ex-boyfriend's child's attitude contributed to the end of their relationship.
She explained that her ex-boyfriend had a daughter before they started dating, but despite her efforts to be kind and accommodating, the child did not appreciate her.
The GhOne TV presenter noted that the child was fixated on her parents being together and did not want to accept any other woman in her father's life.
Speaking on the Toast show on GhOne TV, Animwaa disclosed that the child's behavior ultimately led to their breakup, even though she wanted the relationship to work.
"I dated someone who had a child, and the child hated me so much. Some kids, when they are obsessed with the idea of their mom and dad being together, feel like you are coming to ruin their home. This child is the reason our relationship did not work.
"She basically wanted her mother and father to be together. To be clear, I was not in the picture when the man and her mother were together; I came later. I heard I was not the first person; it was a pattern," she said.
She also mentioned that she has learned valuable lessons from the relationship and hopes to apply them in her future endeavors.
