UK-based Ghanaian sensation, Fuse ODG heaped praise on popular dance artists Afronitaaa and Abigail following their Britain’s Got Talent audition.

Afronitaaa (real name Danita Yeboah) and her protégé, 7-year-old Abigail Adjiri, successfully represented Ghana in the 17th season of the ITV competition.

Their performance, which used the hit song ‘Antenna’ by Fuse ODG, was met with positive responses from both the audience and the judges, with their performance being described as breathtaking.

Speaking on Hitz FM on May 17, 2024, Fuse ODG, who is also known for championing Ghanaian music in the UK, especially with his hit track ‘Azonto,’ which popularized the Azonto dance, described their performance as "amazing" and praised the duo for representing Ghana on such a massive stage.

"That was amazing. They represented Ghana with pride and love. I was very proud to see that Ghana can be showcased like that to the nation. I've always represented Ghana in the UK, so as soon as that song dropped, they knew what time it was," he said.

"And Afronitaaa and Princess Abigail (I call her princess because she's such a special girl) really killed it. And I was so proud that they killed it as much as we killed the song," he continued.

Fuse ODG, real name Nana Richard Abiona, further encouraged Afronita and Abigail to continue their journey of representing Ghana and Africa, assuring them of his and the nation's support.

"Congratulations to Afronita and Abigail. Continue to represent Ghana, and continue to represent Africa. We are behind you. Ghana is definitely on its way to global recognition again," he concluded.

During the audition, all four judges endorsed Afronitaaa and Abigail for a remarkable display.
