Ghanaians are still in shock over the unexpected passing of renowned gospel musician Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, fondly known as KODA.
As per a family source, KODA passed away in the early hours of Sunday, April 21, 2024, following a brief illness, as reported by Metro TV Ghana.
The revered gospel minister had been courageously battling kidney disease for an extended period, a struggle known to his close associates and fans.
KODA is known for his inspirational hits like 'Nsempii,' 'Nkwa Abodoo,' 'Yapai,' and 'Adorno', songs that serve as enduring anthems of hope and joy.
Many celebrities have also taken to social media to express their grief and heartfelt tributes to the artiste.
While some have shared his photographs and videos with captions, others observed minutes of silence on the stages they ministered on.
Others who appear to have been rendered speechless could only share a heartbreak emoji to communicate their state of mind following KODA's sudden demise.
