Background
The convicted rapper was arrested on March 2, 2026, after local authorities tipped off the Metropolitan Police Service in the United Kingdom.
The report further noted that UK authorities have begun processing his return to the country following his arrest.
Meanwhile, Boakye was jailed for six years and five months in 2023 for his involvement in a robbery gang that held victims at knifepoint and forced them to reveal their phone passcodes. The gang used the information to steal a total of £115,000 worth of cryptocurrency, in addition to using victims’ bank details to pay for taxi rides and purchase top-up cards.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service earlier stated: “We are searching for a 21-year-old man who absconded from Lewisham Hospital at around 3:05 pm on Sunday, February 15.
Officers gave chase but were unable to detain Boakye before he left the building.”
