Controversial radio personality Afia Schwarzenegger has added her voice to the brutal killing of an army officer under the pretext that he is an armed robber by some residents of Denkyira Obuasi in Upper Denkyira West.

According to the “Comedy Queen”, the civilians failed to report the incident to the authorities because they have lost faith in them.

“It is a very very sad day for Ama Ghana to have lost a fine gentleman who dedicated his life to protect us... by the people he swore to protect... I watched the video and as a mother and wife...my heart bleeds for his mother, spouse, children, his father who probably convinced his only son to follow his footstep and the entire nation”

“But this is a nation that our judges take goats to free criminals; so how do we convince civilians not to take the laws into their own hands”

“This is a nation that the police tells you after reporting a thief, to go arrest and bring him...how do we convince our civilians to stop this mob action”

“I am not in any way condoning this barbaric act but the truth is we have all lost confidence in our judiciary system this is a country that one can threaten you with mob action…"if you don’t leave, I will scream thief thief”

“This is a country that people can storm court and order their people out n in 2 weeks they are set free this is a country that our military know that murder is a crime that needs to be investigated n prosecuted...but choose to take the laws into their own hands and humiliate civilians in a village whether u were part or not...and still have some ghanaians condoning that”

“This is a country that everyone is a journalist so they will rather video someones predicament than applying common sense to bring solution this is the country that killed Capt Max Mahama...we are all guilty!!!! Rest on Soldier...it is my prayer that your death bring revival to this corrupt nation of ours...Rest in the lord our hero. God bless our homeland Ghana” she said
