How many Hiphop songs did Medikal release to claim he’s the Messiah – Strongman

We guess if rapper Medikal had known that his ‘harmless’ comment will attract these scores of furious reactions from Ghanaians, he would not have tweeted at all.

The ‘Omo Ada’ hitmaker caused a stir recently when he declared that he was the one who saved the dying rap genre in Ghana four years ago and will do everything possible to sustain it.

He wrote:

"4 years ago I saved Ghanaian Rap music from dying and I promise to keep it alive ????????"

Although Strongman jabbed him when the issue first dominated the social media space, it seems the former Sarkcess Music signee is not done with him as he has come back with more fire.

In an interview with Dr. Pounds on Adom FM recently, Strongman disclosed that Medikal is just running his mouth with his trending statement. He says someone should ask Medikal the number of rap songs he has released within these 4 years for him to make that bold claim.

He said,

“Last year alone, I dropped 13 Rap songs. Somebody should ask Medikal how many Hiphop songs he’s released within that 4 years to claim he held Rap down four years ago. Forget him, he’s just running his mouth”.

“Rap is rap, Rap or Hiphop is not about hit songs. The fact that you won the Rapper of the Year should not make you make claims which are untrue”.
