Ghanaian highlife artiste, KK Fosu says had it not been for poverty, he would have pursued his academics to a higher level.
According to him, he was a brilliant student while growing up but the fact that he could not fend for himself meant he should leave schooling in order to make a living.
He mentioned that he aborted the idea of schooling and worked as a Barber in places like Korle Gonor in order to put body and soul together.
KK Fosu was speaking on Accra-based Happy FM.
He said “I dropped out of school in the first year of senior high school. I was a brilliant student but I had to leave school because I was poor”.
