If You Think you have already seen the good, bad and ugly screen sides of Ghana's leading actor Majid Michel, think again.

He says, "I can't wait, to see [me] play the very devil in a movie". The 2010 MAG Best Actor (English Language) told Hi Newspaper that the character he was waiting to play in his so-far-so-good career is the mischievous sprite.

"I have played Jesus Christ, I have played the bad husband/brother, good/ romantic fellow and just about every character there is; all I'm waiting patiently in a script is a character definition same as the 'devil'", he said when Hi asked if he didn't think he was doing about the same character over and over again in each movie.

He was quick to add that, "But not at the expense of my personal doctrine of doing only quality scripts", he said. "The script must be good and it must be a big budget movie. If the story is not good, count me out"

Hi gathers that Majid wouldn't have to wait for too long to land a devilish role/. "Pascal Amanfo (a writer/director) has told me, he's working on a script, in which I would play the devil but I don't think it is ready yet." he said.

Majid was recently speaking to Hi on the set of "A Reason to kill", a Venus Films production which wrapped over the weekend. In the movie, Majid plays a character called Benny. Benny is a famous actor who inherited wealth from his parents but couldn't enjoy it due to a hole in heart illness he has developed.

He gets a new heart from a donor but that will led to the main plot of the movie. Starring in this movie are Jackie Appiah, Eddie Watson (of 4Play Reloaded fame) and Ebi Bright, who played an assassin in "The Game". Majid described Ebi as, "the industry's next magic".

Speaking of Jackie Appiah, Majid said in spite of the fact that, they started their career together in the TV series, "Things we do for Love", he's yet to be fed up playing against or alongside the leading actress.

"We keep taking each other by surprise. We rehearse together mostly jokingly but by the time the cameras roll, there is always a surprise sprung out by either of us. "I just love working with her"

The "Agony of Christ" actor who is married to Virna and has two daughters with her, still maintains a good relationship with Jackie beyond work. During the "Things we do for Love" days, he used to pick her up from home to set and dropped her back from set. On set, just before this interview, the two were seen chatting and picking on each other like old friends do. They are obviously the best of friends, even sometimes traveling together, like last year the two traveled to the U.S together.

And you can now stop thinking, if you ever thought there could be anything intimate between them. "You are wrong". Majid was overheard telling another colleague: "We knew each other before meeting Virna (his wife) and Pierro (Jackie's husband)."
