Adina Thembi Ndamse, better known by her stage name Adina, a Ghanaian-South African singer, songwriter, actress and a model, has revealed on the KSM Show that she doesn’t write her songs but rather allow the professionals to do their work.
The musician who won the Best Vocalist at the just ended VGMA told KSM, although she knows she is a good songwriter, she prefers the services of other professional songwriters to her own songs because of the quality she wants.
She also explained that although she contributes to the songs, the actual lyrical content is done by professionals chosen by her management.
Adina also revealed she would love to do a collaboration with Tiwa Savage, Yvonne Chaka Chaka and Beyoncé.
Asked whether she had to do any ‘favours’ in her music career, Adina told KSM that fortunately for her she never encountered such people who would ask her for favours to help her. To her, she believes due to how she looked people probably saw her as a “small girl” and therefore never had to ask her to do any ‘favours’ to be helped.
