Mary Kukua Kyerewaa Blankson, aka Conscious Queen, a young and enterprising female radio presenter, has declared her plans to use her popular reggae programme on Pink FM, ‘Rasta Jet’, to promote peace and unity among Ghanaians.
Conscious Queen disclosed to the BEATWAVES that her move to Pink FM was to afford him the chance to change the face of radio in Ghana through reggae music.
She believes radio is all about educating the masses and promoting the Ghanaian cultural values.
Aired on Wednesday from 10:00am to 12:00pm, Fridays from 9:00pm to 12:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00am to 12:00pm, the programme gives her the opportunity to interact with listeners.
Enthused about being on radio as a young lady, she loves to write, talk and read and as an outspoken person, she always seeks for equal right and justice.
Conscious Queen portrays an outstanding image and brand as she sees herself a trendsetter, the voice of the voiceless and a seeker of truth in an envelope world where she aids people in seeing the light, believing in their self as well as standing out in seeking justice.
