I always wanted to be a medical doctor – Actor Oteele

Kumawood actor Oteele, born Stephen Yaw Mawunyo, has disclosed that before he became an actor, he had dreams of becoming a Medical Doctor.

During a discussion on Onua TV’s Showtime with Nana Ama McBrown, monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Oteele opened up about his educational background. According to him, he attended school but dropped out when he got to JSS, now JHS.

“My father asked me to go and write BECE but I told him No. I asked him to pay for protocol so I could be admitted to SSS now SHS but he refused. So I also dropped out. I didn’t want my juniors to meet me in the same class so I dropped out.” He revealed

He added that after he dropped out from school, he started selling CDs at Kumasi with Miracle Films and commenced his acting from there.
