I am Not Having An Affair With Dede Ayew - Eazzy

Eazzy, Ghana’s hottest hip-hop and R&B artiste, is very well known for two hit songs-‘Wengeze’ and ‘Bo Wonsem Ma Me. Surprisingly, she says she does not have a boyfriend and is not dating at all though she turned 24 last month and has achieved celebrity status.

“I f I had a boyfriend i would not feel shy about it at all. I would have said so but the truth is I am not dating,” she revealed. Explaining her speculated love relationship with Black Stars Player Dede Ayew, Eazzy admitted they were the best of friends but denied they were having a love affair or romantic relationship. “Oh Dede is one of my celebrity friends just like Tinny, Tic Tac or others,” Eazzy revealed.

The talented performer said though she had dated before, she is currently single with no man in her life and is taking things easy and not eagerly searching for one.

Eazzy, whose real name is Mildred Ashong, revealed these on ‘the One Show’ hosted by Joselyn Dumas. Mildred said she got the name ‘Eazzy’ because she had always been a firm believer in taking things easy and breezing through hardships with panache. The name was given to her during her secondary school days at Mfanstiman Senior High School, where she performed during entertainment nights.

Reports that Eazzy is single would take many by surprise, considering her exceptionally good looks and the unusual charm with which she mesmerizes her fans, both males and females, when she mounts the stage to perform.

Eazzy is on the record label of Lynx Entertainment and has become the talk of town though she entered the Ghanaian music industry only in July 2009. One advantage Eazzy has over her contemporaries is her extraordinary ability to dance in addition to rapping and singing at the same time. News-One’s checks revealed that after Mfanstiman, Eazzy attended the Institute of Professional Studies in Ghana, before going to the Chartered Institute of Marketing in England.
