I am in a serious relationship – Kalybos

Comic actor Kalybos, born Richard Asante, has opened up about his love life and revealed he has been dating for over a year now.

According to him, he is currently not searching because he is in a serious relationship with a lady who he may walk down the aisle with soon.

But speaking on McBrown’s Kitchen on UTV on Sunday, he refused to disclose the identity of the lady.

“Yes, I have a serious girlfriend,” he told Nana Ama McBrown.

Kalybos has long been rumoured to be dating his co-star, Ahuofe Patri, and the revelation about his love life has also come at a time Ghanaian male celebrities are getting married to beautiful ladies outside of the showbiz industry.

He denied Ahuofe Patri is the lady in question, reiterating that he never dated her.

“Ahonfe Patri is my love on TV screens but not in real life. I have someone else out there. I have a serious girlfriend. It was Ahuofe Patri herself who introduced her to me,” he revealed.

Kalybos, who had a stint into the movie after playing several roles in skits, is currently one of the relevant actors around. He has a good number of movies to his credit as well.

On Sunday, he was on McBrown’s Kitchen to cook and talk about his career and love life.
