Being a good musician does not necessarily mean how often you release songs onto the music market but your ability to transform lives, motivate and encourage fans with your songs.
Clinton Oduro Koranteng better known as OCLI has finally arrived with a style that will serve the real purpose of music. Even though he has been into active music for some time now, Ocli who is a professional in the music business decided to stay low in order to avail himself to some branding tutorials and training.
After long years of brand building, the Akradaa Movement boss is ready to prove to the many Ghanaians why he hasn’t got a match when it comes to music in Ghana.
In an exclusive interview with Flex newspaper, Ocli explained that his presence will cause a massive shake up in the music industry. “I am not here to joke. I know the industry has produced many talented musicians over the years making it a tough competition for some musicians but my entry will cause a massive shake up in this industry of ours,” the singer stated.
Ocli whose versatility has seen him do genres like Twi-pop, dancehall and hip-hop is ready to release his first single called Blessing on Tuesday the 14th February, 2016 which is the Valentine’s Day. Blessing which is a blend of Twi-pop and dancehall is a danceable tune which talks about how people poke their noses into other people’s business whiles they could have dealt and solve their own problems. It features Tema – based singer and rapper D Cryme and was produced by Mix Masta Garzy.
“I have so many songs I am yet to release. This is just to pave a way for my entry. I don’t see any competition in what I am doing due to the passion I have for the work. My soul, spirit and body can never survive without serving my fans what they crave for (good music) and with the talent I have, I see myself making international waves soon. I am not here for jokes at all” the singer said.
