Twenty-four-year-old music star, Kurl Songx, has opened up on his love life in a recent interview.
According to the ‘Jennifer Lomotey’ singer, he does not have a girlfriend, however, he has those that he enjoys sexual pleasures with. He added that the last time he had such pleasure was just a day before his interview.
This was Kurl Songx’s answer to a question asked him by Delay on the Delay Show as to whether he has a girlfriend or not. “I don’t have a girlfriend; but I have those I use to ‘clean my mouth’,” Kurl Songx revealed.
Explaining further, Kurl Songx said he is currently focused on promoting his music career, and so he is not ready to commit to any relationship. In his own words, he is not ready for dating ‘wahala’ as that could derail him from succeeding at his career.
His answer came as a shock to Delay and undoubtedly some of his fans who might have watched the show, simply because he is a young man now building a career. But Kurl Songx said he “takes good care of himself” regarding his sexual life, adding that he always takes precautionary measures to see it to that he doesn’t land in trouble.
While on the show, Songx narrated his tortuous journey to stardom, and how family issues affected his life negatively.
He also disclosed that his first single ‘Jennifer Lomotey’ becoming a hit song is something he never expected; stressing that the song becoming popular is something that still surprises him.
Kurl Songx was the winner of MTN Hitmaker season 5 in 2016. He released his first single ‘Jeniffer Lomotey’ which features Ghana’s ‘Highest’ rapper Sarkodie.
After the release of Jennifer Lomotey, Kurl Songx came under intense pressure from the people of Ga-Dangbe due to some portions of his song which went against them. The Ga-Dangbe group warned him to withdraw the song from the public and apologize or face a legal suit.
Later, Kurl Songx confessed in an interview that he was really scared of that pressure and that discouraged him from pursuing music. He hinted at more music releases son, while hoping to win an award or two in the upcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Award.
