Hiplife artiste C-Zar has stated that his decision to quit music to do business has nothing to do with competition in the music industry.

In a recent interview, C-Zar admitted that his musical ambitions are over as he decides to venture into full-time business.

He proceeded by saying that music in Ghana doesn't pay off as most of our veteran musicians die poor as if they have never been in the limelight before.

The rapper, who was famously known for his 'class 1' raps, added that he doesn't want to be like the veterans who died in poverty and he sees business as the best alternative to raise enough funds to take care of himself and family.

The 'Sunsum Sofo ' hitmaker debunked claims that he is quitting music because of 'fierce' competition from younger artistes. According to him, he is not a failure and that all his albums were all a hit.

" I understand the game so I give the people what they want and that has been my trademark. Music is time consuming, and I don't think I have the energy to juggle it with my business especially when it fetches me little returns," C-Zar stated.

C-Zar has 'graced' the industry with lots of hit tunes like Araba Lawson, Mercy Lokko, Sunsum Sofo, etc.
