Young rapper, Von says he is the younger version of Lord Kenya, the veteran rapper who is now a servant of God.
The 20-year-old in his latest single called 'Lord Kenya' paid homage to the musician who he says is his biggest inspiration.
Von is currently number five on Dr. Pounds Rap Attack Show on Hitz Fm 103.9 says and he is pushing and working harder for his music to be accepted in mainstream music arena.
“There are a lot of rappers now in Ghana, my kind of rap is relative different from what we hear every day. You see Lord Kenya was different from all the rappers who existed during his time that is the same way am trying to be different from all the rappers that exist,” he said.
“I want to congratulate rappers who have held the forth from day one of hip life music. Reggie Rockstones, Obrafour, Okra, Sarkodie, EL and the new school rappers like Kofi Kinaata, Tee Phlow and Koo Ntakra, “he added.
