Popular Ghanaian Boxer Bukom Banku has revealed why he beat up two of his sisters recently.
Reacting to the issue on the Live Breakfast Club on LIVE 91.9 FM, Banku, who is famed for being a no-nonsense person said he physically assaulted the two sisters of his in question because they were engaged in Lesbianism.
“I just couldn’t bring myself to terms with that; it was painful hearing people talk about them in that manner and i also saw for myself,” he said.
He added: “people know me; i am popular so imagine they spreading stories about my sisters being Lesbians. I live in a community where people spread stories irrespective of your person. So i was worried and had to act.”
His action he suggested proved useful, insisting he did it for the good of his family.
“I did it because of my family. We are not like that… me, my family, woman to woman sleeping? No… we don’t do that.”
