Co-host of TV3’s New Day, Nana Aba Anamoah, has disclosed that she became a Broadcast Journalist by accident.

She told Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) host of 360LIVE on Live 91.9 FM that she wanted to become a Doctor, but that dream had to give way to active Journalism.

“I had wanted to become a Doctor, I never wanted to be a journalist but at a point I had the passion for it. I participated with a friend for an audition at Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) as presenter and went into a room where the Late Charley Sam gave me a script to read which I did my best so he told me, I have a good voice for a radio and that started my radio career later at GBC. I later met Earl Ankrah also a broadcaster who introduced me to Television presenting and that shaped my career in Television from GBC to TV3.

She added that TV3 may probably be the last media house she will be working for.

“TV3 is a big family because you are always been pushed to go forward. Moreover If I should quit TV3, I will not work for any media house.”
