Ace Ghanaian sound engineer and musician, Morris D’Voice, has disclosed how he feels when he has an encounter with ‘fake men of God’.
Speaking in an interview with Melvina Frimpong Manson on Suncity Radio’s Showbiz 971 in Sunyani—which was monitored by the News Hunter Magazine, Morris advised Christians to learn more in order not to be deceived.
Urging Christians to learn the word of God and also be prayerful, Morris stressed that God will judge Christians who do not speak against the actions of these ‘fake men of God’.
When asked how one can know these ‘fake men of God’, he quoted Matthew 7:15-20, which reads: “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits, you will know them.”
Morris, who has given up on his old ways to preach the gospel said he is not perturbed if people continue to use his old works.
“I am not worried when people play my secular songs. That will make people know that the good Lord has now called me to do his work,” he stated.
He emphasised: “The work of God is not like bread and batter. If you do not take care, you will venture into it and back out later. It shouldn’t be about the money that you will get. Think about the life of others.”
Morris, therefore, called on Pastors to groom people who turn their ways to serve the Almighty God very well.
He also charged the media not to give ‘fake men of God’ attention.
