The founder and leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Prophet Nicholas Osei, also known as Prophet Kumchacha, is blaming President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the low offerings in his church.
In a viral video shared on the EDHUB page, Prophet Kumchacha expressed disappointment in his congregation for their inability to give significant amounts as offerings in church.
He said, “Today is July 28, 2024, and today, we were not able to collect any offerings at all. Most of you gave coins and 1 Ghana cedi notes as offerings. With these kinds of offerings, how do we expect the church to grow? How can we sustain and grow the work of God with these meager amounts of money?”
Despite his disappointment in his congregation, the clergyman empathized with his members and blamed the government for the poor economic state of the country, making it difficult for church members to give substantially.
“The truth is, I don’t blame you too much. I blame Nana Addo and Bawumia. I, Prophet Kumchacha, don’t blame anyone; I will give all the blame to them. If you look into this offering bowl, you will only find coins; even the notes in it are just a handful. I blame the president and his vice. The economy is bad, and everyone is suffering,” Prophet Kumchacha told his congregation.
