Bishop Daniel Obinim
Outspoken preacher Bishop Daniel Obinim who has recently been in the news for various reasons disclosed during an interview on Accra-based Kasapa FM that he was behind the success of most of Guru’s hit songs.
During the phone conversation, Obinim made it clear though he has prayed for lots of musicians, he usually don’t like making them public as an example to how Jesus worked.
"Ever since Guru took me as his spiritual father I have always been praying for him, we still have a healthy relationship and he gives me the deserved respect anytime we meet in town’’, he stated.
According to the Founder and leader of the International God's Way Church, certain people especially the media have been trying to disrupt his relationship with Guru and recently with Atom of ‘Y3 Wo krom’ fame.
"I am always misquoted; most of the news you read about me is neither here nor there. I never disclosed whoever I pray on behalf for favours but the media always exaggerate things’’.
Bishop Obinim further referenced earlier speculations that another artiste Atom who sees him as his spiritual was alleged to sue him for performing his song were surprising since the artiste had said no such thing.
He concluded by saying he still wonders why people would always want to create false news between him and his fellowship.
